Summoning all pirates, princesses, fairy tale creatures and more – Each student will receive a book of their choice from Book Buddies of East Texas. Adults, you will receive tips & strategies that help your child understand what they're reading, build vocabulary, and improve their reading skills.

Move with Me, Thurs., Sept. 21, 4-5 p.m.

A fun energetic session for children and their families! Tips will be provided on benefits of physical activity for children & adults, physical activities that parents & children can participate in together. Writer’s Block – the condition of being unable to think of what to write or how to proceed with writing.Creative writing is a brilliant tool for sharing stories, unlocking your creativity and expressing ourselves – but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start!This word-based session will give young authors an arsenal of techniques and stimuli to get the creative juices flowing, and improve their writing and storytelling confidence .This is a party of words and everyone is invited! Suitable for all writing ability levels, this session is about finding the joy in words and creating worlds with our imagination. ( Session in English & Spanish)
