As I scroll through social media, I see people talking all about how amazing their lives are. "Insta-filters." Best job ever. Best family ever. Everything is perfect.So can we be real for a minute? Sometimes things in life sorta suck. If you're following me expecting to hear nothing but bragging and pride... you won't find that here. We are all sinners saved by grace alone, period! We all duff it. Good days and bad days alike still just sinners. We do not have the capacity or capability for good without God, without Jesus. My opinion, there is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness is a quick temporary thing based off an emotion or chemical rush in the body. New car, promotion, vacation, etc. Joy is contentment. Contentment in what you have, who you are and what you do. That comes from peace and grace with God alone. No Uhauls at funerals, no tombstones with “if I would have only worked more, tried harder, etc”. Peace in self from God and blessings from helping others and honoring God is the best we can do and what we are called to do. You are not alone. Solomon says everything under the sun is meaningless. So don’t chase stuff or positions. Hot mess here too. I just try to focus on my “why” and the purpose God gives me. Semper Fi.

We really are radically forgiven...once we accept that, we can live how this man describes it. We're human, do we will trip, fall, sin in some manner. He doesn't keep a record of it. He dusts us off and sends us back out knowing we are loved. Love his observation on how to view how we're living.

Every sin is a punishment in and of itself.If you get drunk, you will throw up.If you are lazy, you will get fat.If you hate people, people will hate you.If you watch p*rn, it diminishes your taste for the actual women who will have sex with you.This isn't philosophy or science, it's simple and demonstrable cause and effect.

We are totally forgiven if we Repent. Jesus loves us 100%. Are sins remembered no more. Our action is that we want to TURN from our sin.Yes, oh yes we still sin. We need to ask for forgiveness when we mess up and not repeat the sin. Remember accepting Christ is surrendering our lives to Him.Grace and Mercy from the cross of Jesus was the most expensive price ever paid in this world. God went to the greatest length to save everyone of His creation. While we ( I ) were sinners, Christ died for us. Amen!

That is a great way of putting it! and way to consider! As a slow learner, but slow is better then never, I have come far after several years, but so much to learn. But having this knowledge makes all the difference. All the difference.

Everyone in America needs to see the horror that Bill Melugin from Fox News just revealed about the torture and murder of a NYC child thanks to ANOTHER illegal immigrant, according to police.REPOST this EVERYWHERE!!!"ICE confirms that the Ecuadorean illegal alien charged with r-ping a 13-year-old girl in NYC was caught by Border Patrol in Eagle Pass, TX in June 2021, then released into the U.S. w/ a future court date. I feel nothing but RAGE right now and my heart is broken. Houston police have charged two Venezuelan migrant men over the brutal r*pe and strangulation of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. The child's body was found dumped in shallow water in a creek after being strangled and r-ped. The two suspects were seen on CCTV with the girl walking into a convenience store, just hours before her death. Houston police have identified them as Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21 and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26.They have now been charged with capital murder.
