The Nottingham 10K returns to the city centre!

A firm favourite in the city's running calendar, the 10K is back, bigger and better for 2024.

Returning with an exciting new and improved city centre route, this year's Nottingham 10K will start in Old Market Square and finish inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle.

Participants of all abilities and ages are invited to take part, whether that be as part of fundraising efforts or for their own goal or reason.

Run For All continues to deliver a safe and secure environment for all participants.

After starting in Old Market Square; the 10K route will then head north of the city centre, travelling along Mansfield Road before reaching Nottingham Girls High School.

Once there, the route will take participants along Forest Road East and onto Church Rock Cemetery before travelling south back towards Nottingham City Centre. Runners will then reach Motorpoint Nottingham Arena before looping around Nottingham’s Park Estate. Participants will then reach the historic finish line inside Nottingham Castle!

Using your race number bib

Using your race number bib

  • Timing chip

Your timing chip is affixed to your race number, do not attempt to remove or fold the chip. Do not pierce the chip with safety pins.

  • Bib number

Wear your chipped bib number on your chest on the outer layer of clothing e.g. if a running jacket is worn, wear your number on top of this. Do not obscure/ cover your bib number + chip with a bum bag/ running belt.

  • Arm position

We encourage runners not to position their arms to start/stop a personal timing device on or right in front of the bib whilst running over the timing mats themselves as this impedes the signal. Arms can be positioned slightly away from the body, or the devices can be started/stopped when the runner isn’t on the actual mat.

  • Keep your number safe

Race numbers are not interchangeable and entries cannot be assigned, transferred, sold or gifted to any third party. Do not under any circ*mstances allow anybody else to run with your race number. Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners.

  • Disposal

Your bib & timing chip does not need to be collected in after the event. It can be disposed of in general waste, or kept as a memento of your race day!
