Larry Crawford (@ltcpoppy) reported @KLTV7 As a former Swepco employee that did this kind of work, the only connection was the man that lived there helped the troubleman find the problem much faster to be able to restore power to many customers. The problem is people who get in the way and hinder restoring power.

@RichKiss1955 @SenJohnKennedy He’s not lying about the 45% increase. I don’t support either party but I live here in Louisiana & my electric bill under swepco has gone from 142.00 to 257.00 in the last 2 years. Im not saying he’s a saint. Im saying that part is true.

@JustinKing113 Bentonite bases are old technology. They are for extreme heat and don’t play well with other greases. Mixing any other grease with a bentonite base will break down and leak past seals. Not easy to purge once it’s in. Try Schaeffers or Swepco for better water resistance.

@lhpanthermom @Peterbilt2008 My folks are on SWEPCO and they drag their feet. For 45 years here everyone a storm comes thru the power goes out. Lines run through the woods. You would think they would keep things trimmed back to keep limbs off the lines.
