We've all heard, seen and celebrated (or commiserated) the news that timeless fashion trend pedal pushers, capri pants, 3/4 lengths - however you know them - are back for 2024 and, with summer now in our midst, this style of cropped trousers is out in full force.

Now before you turn your head and bow out of this incredibly nostalgic style, let us plead the case of why they're a style needed in your wardrobe - especially for this time of year. As June gets underway, we all know the British weather is temperamental and what starts off as a sunny day could end in a thunderstorm. Being shorter than trousers and longer than shorts, these 3/4 length pants have you covered for when it's an in-between weather day when it's not too cold but not too scorching either.
The Roman Originals trousers are gorgeously tailored for a flattering fit with narrow tapered cuffs that end just below the knee. Made from a combination of viscose, polyamide and elastane, these Capri pants are super breathable and comfortable and feature a contoured fitted waistband that is elasticated for ease of pulling on.
Amazon states these slacks are 'butt lifting' and 'ab shaping' and give you a lovely 'sculpted' silhouette - cemented by some shoppers who have exclaimed that the pants ' make me look 2 sizes smaller'.
They said: "They have a lovely stretch to them and feel extremely comfortable. They come up over my hips and paunch and with a loose top on they are really skimming and flattering. My bum looks great in them! They are well made, great quality material and look expensive. I got them for holiday but I'm going to buy more pairs as I'll wear them to work - and anywhere else as they can easily be dressed up or down. I bought size 18."
Another remarked: "I am a size ten to twelve and four feet ten..these trousers are fantastic. The quality, cut, fit and colours are excellent.
