We don’t mean to brag, but we don’t flaunt an average delivery time of 33.95 minutes* for no reason. That’s because here at MILKRUN, we pride ourselves on getting our products to you with no fuss, even if you’re in a rush. All you have to do is show the delivery driver your ID upon arrival. It’s that easy.
Important information you need to know
- You must be 18 or older to purchase alcohol and provide your date of birth before paying.
- You will be required to show a physical drivers licence, passport or national ID to the delivery partner upon delivery. Unfortunately, digital licences are not accepted.
- The delivery partner will capture a scan of your proof of age document via the Uber Driver App for verification purposes of you DOB and expiration date. The delivery partner will not be able to access the image and the scan is removed from Uber wtihin 24 hours.
- Orders are unable to be left unattended.
- Orders will not be delivered if the delivery partner determines signs of intoxication.
What happens if my liquor item(s) is out of stock?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide substitutes for any liquor items. You will not be charged for any out of stock products. The rest of your order will still be delivered.
What happen if I am not home or unable to meet the delivery partner? Can you leave alcohol unattended?
All orders that contain alcohol are required to have the delivery partner capture a scan of your proof of age document. We are unable to leave the order unattended. If you are unavailable, your order will be cancelled, returned and refunded.
If I miss the delivery, can I have it redelivered?
We are unable to redeliver orders. You will need to place another order. Please note, if you were refused delivery for showing signs of intoxication, you will need to wait 24 hours to place another order with alcohol.
The delivery partner refused to deliver because they thought I was intoxicated.
Alcohol is unable to be delivered to customers who show signs of intoxication. To comply with responsible service of alcohol legislation, the delivery partner will use their best judgment to determine. If a delivery partner determines you may be intoxicated, we will be unable to deliver the order. You will be refunded and we will not be able to redeliver it.
Can the delivery partner leave the groceries if I am unable to receive the alcohol?
Unfortunately if we need to cancel your order with alcohol due to 1) not available to show ID; 2) invalid ID; 3) underage; 4) displaying signs of intoxication the entire order will be cancelled and refunded. We can not deliver only the groceries.
Why don't you have a full range of alcohol products?
To ensure we can deliver orders complete and quickly, we have a curated range of products. If there is a specific product you would like to see ranged, please email help@milkrun.com and we will pass this on to the appropriate team.
Why did the delivery partner scan my proof of age document? Can the delivery partner see it? Is it on the delivery partner's phone?
In order to comply with responsible service laws and regulations, delivery partners scan your document to ensure you are over 18 and your document is current. The scan is removed within 24 hours from Uber's database and the delivery partner is never able to see the scan.
What does it mean when I receive an error message at checkout about being excluded from alcohol?
Your account has been excluded by one of our alcohol partners and you are unable to purchase alcohol from MILKRUN. You will need to remove the alcohol from your cart to proceed to place your order. For questions, please contact our support team at help@milkrun.com.
How do I exclude myself from alcohol at MILKRUN?
On the MILKRUN app, you will see a section called "Self Exclusion." Follow the link to a form on the Woolworths website where you are able to exclude yourself from alcohol.
