Earley Sept. 2, 1981 Time heals, I have heard people say but two years now have passed since that sad September day. Grandpa I still stop to look down that road you walk for your last time, Thinking I will see your warm and smiling face walking back towards home, but only soon realize I stand alone. Grandpa you always make the cold a little warmer, the hot a little cooler, and the sky a lot bluer you always took so little and gave so much and never ever did make a fuss, Grandpa that is why you were so close to us. God must be so happy to have a man like you, because you took so much with you, Love, understanding, and a little gleam, a gleam that was always in your eyes, a gleam that so few other people have.

Grandpa, please keep watch over us and help guide us along the right ways, because we all long to see and be with you on God's golden day. WE LOVE YOU GRANDPA.
