4 Obituaries Record April 9, 1923 Genevieve L. Fox, 90, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her residence in Marion. She was born on April 9, 1923, in Anderson, IN. She married Howard L. Fox on Sunday, May 14, 1944 in Daleville, Indiana.

Mrs. Fox had worked for the United Methodist Memorial Home for 5 years, the Emily Flinn Nursing Home in Marion and had also worked for Delco Remy in Anderson for 3 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sunshine Club and also the General Motors Sympathy Club, the Mt. Etna Wesleyan Church and had attended the 1st Baptist Church in Frostproof "Florida. She also enjoyed making baby blankets, quilts and crocheting afghans.

She had been a 1942 graduate of Markleville High School and had formerly lived in Marion, Warren, and Gas City, then moved to Avon Park, FL and then returned to Marion, IN. Survivors include her son, Ronald (Cris) Fox, Andrews, IN; daughter, Connie Lee (Russell) Wolfe, Mt. Vernon, IL; granddaughters, Angela Carter, St. Joe, IL, Debbie Bland, Danville, IN, Traci Koontz, Andrews, IN, and Tammy Valenzuela, Bluffton, IN; grandsons, Jay Parrett, Andrews, IN, Ron Fox, Andrews, IN, Bill Allen, Warren, IN, and Jamey Allen, Bluffton, IN; 23 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L.

Rosen John Henry Dec. 10, 1930 John Henry Regnault passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home in Oceanside, CA at the age of 82. John was married to Elvera (Wilson) Colburn 1952 to 1977 and then married Barbara (Powers) Regnault in 1994 and both survive.

John was an Air Force Staff Sargent and later worked as a Design Engineer for the Marion RCA plant for 43 3 years. During this time he worked with a team of Engineers in perfecting the color television tube. He had published manuals and other material in this field. He held two patents for Base Assembly for Electron Tube and a Digital Computer Controlled Test system. After he retired in 1996, John and Barbara Regnault then moved to Southern California.

John and Barbara lived in Oceanside, CA for the past 17 years. He was a member of the San Luis Rey Valley United Methodist Church, and served on the financial committee there also. Previously he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion. He loved to travel, and with Barbara has traveled all over the world. Their most recent trip was to Russia, just a year ago.

Although quiet, John was a man of wisdom and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by loving wife, Barbara (Powers) Regnault, Oceanside, CA; son, Kevin (Angela) Regnault Marion; daughter, Janenne (Regnault) Chambers, Denver, CO; stepsons, Richard Aug. 22, 1940 Richard A. Browner, 72, lifelong resident of Marion, died at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, May 12, 2013 in his residence.

He was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Mansfield and Sarah (Jackson) Browner. He married Joyce A. Moore on June 12, 1983. She survives. He retired from General Motors in 1998 after 34 years serving as a supervisor.

Mr. Browner attended Grace Community Church and was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Wilson Lodge Master Gardener Club, Morning Gardening Club, International Brotherhood of Magicians RING 310 of Muncie and the CPC Sympathy Club. He was an avid bowler, winning numerous trophies and awards, including Marion City Tournament Champion. Survivors include wife, Joyce Browner, Marion son, Kelly (Teenie) Browner, Atlanta, two grandsons Justin and Jeremy; son, Kenneth (Shawn) Browner, Indianapolis, stepdaughters, Celina Sparks, Indianapolis, Tina Moore, Indianapolis, Tasey (Greg) Wright, Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren in Indiana, as well as a special grandson, Dillon in Muncie; 6 great-grandchildren i in Indiana; A host of relatives and family members.

Preceded in death by parents, Mansfield Sarah May 3, 2013 Pastor Tim (Ellen) Powers, Peru, and Doug Powers, Indianapolis. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Regnault Marion, Patrick Regnault, Marion, and Jennifer Chambers, Denver, stepgrandchildren, Jesselyn Robinson, Dallas, TX and Lillian Powers, Indianapolis Also great Cameren Regnault and Lucas Regnault, Marion. Surviving also is sister-n-law, Ann Regnault, Marion, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, John Regnault Sr. and Alice Regnault; siblings, William Regnault, Marcella (Regnault) Cates and Robert Regnault; grandson, Kyle Regnault; and nephew, Joe Regnault.

A Public Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church, 517 Church Street, Sweetser, IN 46987. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Garrett Dec. 16, 1937 Charlie A. Garrett, 75, died on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Crittenton Hospital, Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was born in Hartford City, Indiana on December 16, 1937 to the late Dwight L.

and Clara R. (Mahon) Garrett. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Charlie married Penny Robinson August 26, 1986, and she preceded him in death on December 11, 2010. He was a licensed social worker, earning a Master's of Social Work Degree in 1991 from Indiana University.

He retired from Renal Care Group in 2011 and had previously worked at Grant Blackford Mental Health for 10 He was a member of N.A.S.W. and the Jonesboro City Council. He also was a member of the ICAADA and NAADAC, serving on the Certification Board since 1984 and as an officer since 1986. His life took a 90 degree turn when he became friends with Bill Wilson in 1980. Survivors include his children, who openly adopted him into their lives since his marriage to their mother, Wayne E.

She was born in Hartford City, Indiana to the late Amos and Miriam (Townsend) Girod. She married Kenneth L. Rosen on October 28, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1992. She previously worked as a secretary at Anaconda.

Ida was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Alter and Rosary Society and helped with funeral dinners. Ida enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She loved listening to music, especially Anne Murray. Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Fillenworth, Nancy Jo Rosen, and Carol (George) Herman, all of Marion; son, Gary (Susan) Rosen, Lascassas, TN; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Carroll, Michael Ryan Carroll, Phillip (Carolyn) Herman, Kyle Herman, JenSee more obituaries nifer Rosen, and Lisa (Greg) Sanders; and a great-grandchild, Ashton Jones.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Amos Girod, Er- nest Girod, and Donald Girod; and a sister, 1 Hilda Barley.
